中文摘要 | 電腦輔助教學是現今每一種教育領域的趨勢。有了電腦的幫助,學生可以調整他 們的學習進度,適時得到輔助和回饋,而且學習可以達到相當程度的個人化,不必時時侷限 於課堂和依賴教師。但在另一方面學習者可能會有迷失方向或負荷過重的問題,因此在編輯 這種電子文件時,必須謹慎設計與評估。 本篇論文嘗試由追蹤個人在使用教育軟體時的學習過程,探討學習者與軟體介面的交互關係 。作者希望能發現學習者在使用這種教學軟體時所發生的種種問題,以便作為改進軟體設計 時的參考。本文藉著作者所設計的模擬提款機不同版本作業測試中記錄並分析其差異點之方 式,搜集資料作為此類文件是否符合學習者需求的重要評估依據。 經由學習過程資料的檢定和作業時間的統計分析後,顯示新舊兩種版本在五項作業測試中有 四項作業的差異十分顯著。此外,開放式問卷也提供作者許多介面重新設計的寶貴意見。 |
英文摘要 | It is a current trend to computerize the teaching material in almost every field of education. With the aid of computers, students can self-pace their progress, get timely assistance and feedback, and effectively use their time because of the individualized instruction. At the same time, the learner may have the problems of navigation disorientation or cognitive overload. It is important, therefore, when authoring the electronic document, to carefully design and evaluate all materials. The research reported in this paper attempts to discover how people interact with the interface of a small-scaled educational software. It is practical for the teachers who want to computerize their teaching materials or to undertake some compact-scaled modeling in any domain of instruction. Furthermore, it aims to explore the topography of problems the user may have in browsing such electronic documents. thus, we can revise them to enhance their usability. details in the browsing process of an auto teller machine game, a HyperCard stack designed by the author, were recorded to compare the differences between two versions. The data can also function as an evaluative tool to find whether or not the stack fits the user's need on the basis of the essential tasks. From the records of navigation path and statistical analysis, four out of five tasks differ significantly between the two versions, which means that the new version is better than the old one in overall performance. Last but not least, the open-ended questionnaire also offers some useful comments and suggestions for the author to redesign the interface. |
