中文摘要 | 教育為國家之基石,更為佛教之精神。人類知識日新月異,社會文化不斷發展, 人們對心身之自我教育更需協調,注重心靈攝養,以獲得安適與和諧。佛經「萬法唯心」識 為主,故欲正其所學,必先正其心;八正道經云:正見、正思、正惟、正語、正命、正業、 正精進、正念、正定,此即佛教之教育方針,不僅重視心之感化與知識之教育,同時著重內 在之感格,期能自覺覺他,覺行圓滿,進而轉識成智,為人類培養「慧命開拓」,這就是覺 之教育。管理是經由人之努力與合作而有效率達成目標,因此管理是以人為中心,透過人之 工作完成,以達成企業之目標。佛陀一生說教,亦以「人」為出發點,就是要解決「人」之 問題,並發揮「人」之大義。鑑此,管理教育與佛教教育,基本原理具有相同性。本文擬說 明覺之教育之內涵,並分析管理者所需具備之特質,最後提出覺性管理教育之施教方針。 |
英文摘要 | This paper describes an implementation of enlightened education for students of management department in colleges or universities. The enlightened education was proposed by the Ven. Hiu Wan. The most important feature of this education model is the combination of confucianism's concentration and serenity and Buddhism's mediation of pure mindfulness. The enlightened education is based on human beings, exploring human problems caused by worry, agony and suffering, and by unsurmountable questions. The imbalance of the human mind causes a lot of confusion and calamity such as internecine behaviour or plunder. Thus, this education model is devoted to liberation the hidden potential of the human mind. A very large number of college and unversity educated students will themselves become managers. Many more will become a professional and technical people, such as engineers, researchers, salesmen, analysts, accountants or computer programmers. Management is a social function, embeded in a tradition of values, customs, and beliefs, and in governmental and political systems. Management is, and should be, culture-conditioned; in turn, management and managers shape culture and society. Thus, the study of management is both professional and liberal education. The education of management should also enable today's student to make a life out of a living, and to become an achieving, responsible, and effective persons. It is the same as the enlightened education. Finally, five key factors of the enlightened education (learning, quesioning, thinking, judging, and doing) is proposed in this paper. |
