中文摘要 | 本研究探討如何使用三度空間 (3D) 數位板輔助建築形體模擬,及其使用過程中對傳統及電腦模擬之影響。3D數位板是唯一能提供六向自由度之操控者,結合適當應用軟體後可直接、直覺且快速製作幾何體以供設計分析模擬使用,無須額外轉換方程式或參考工作平面,故可簡化一股應用軟體必須之製作、編修、及組立物體等操作步驟,間接減少因操作程序不熟而導致試誤之頻率。本研究將3D數位板輔助的模擬過程全為四種:前二種方式協助轉換傳統手製模型至電腦內建格式;第三種則完全屬於輔助電腦環境中立體模擬功能;第四種頭型顯示如何結合感應筆與手勢動作直接模擬實體。應用範疇包括銜接不同模型特性、模擬容許較大差異性幾何體、配合高度精確的模擬要求、模擬陪襯設計主體的既存實體、模擬複雜形體、執行日照及透視分析、及設定動畫視點或物體移動路線等項目。 |
英文摘要 | This research studies how a three-dimensional (3D) digitizer is applied to facilitate modeling process, and how the application affects design tasks in terms of computer simulation. 3D digitizer is the only device provides six degrees of freedom. The study shows that a 3D input device with appropriate application software can directly and intuitively generate objects for analysis purpose, without additional transformation program and referencing plane. 3D digitizer can therefore simplify constructing, editing, and assembling tasks commonly required by other application software. Operational error due to unfamiliarity can also be reduced. The research categorizes digitizerassisted modeling into four types: first two facilitate coordinate transformation from traditional model to computer format; the third constructs objects in a computer environment; and the last combines gesture and stylus to model objects without referring to real ones. Related applications include bridging different mode1ing characteristics, modeling an object with a margin of error or a large variability, meeting precision demand, modeling existing objects to assist the current design task, modeling complex objects, performing lightshadow and perspective studies, and constructing animation path. |
