中文摘要 | 本試驗的目的,在以熱帶作物蜀黍雜交種臺中3號的種子為材料,探討種水份含量與儲藏溫度對種子壽命的影響,來觀察種子活力方程式適用與否,並且測定蜀黍種子的活力常數,以資應用。調整種子水份含量為11-27%,種子密封於鋁箔袋,分別放在9.5,18.8,29.2,44.7℃的恒溫箱之中,進行儲藏試驗。根據種子活力方程式,將發芽率經機率值轉化(probit transformation)後,與儲藏日數進行複迴歸分析,求出蜀黍種子的活力常數。結果顯示種子活力方程式可以描述蜀黍種子在儲藏過程中發芽率的變化。種子壽命的對數,與種子水份含量及儲藏溫度呈直線關係。種子水份含量經對數轉換,儲藏溫度以二次方程式取代後,種子壽命與儲藏條件的迴歸關係改進幅度甚小。估算的結果,蜀黍種子的活力常數暫訂為K□=10.588,C□=6.305,Cн=0.041,C□=0.000349。這些常數可以提供蜀黍種子調製儲藏的參考。 |
英文摘要 | The viability of the sorghum 「Sorghum bicolor (L.) Moench, cv. Taichung no. 3」 seeds was monitored during hermatic storage under constant seed moisture content ranging between 11 and 26.85% (wet basis) and storage temperature of 9.5、18.8、28.2 and 44.7°C. The regression coefficient between storage time and probit-transformed viability of each set of storage condition, which is the inverse of the slope of the transformed linear survival curve, was calculated. Fifteen sets of the data of storage temperature, seed moisture content and the regression coefficient were fitted according to the improved viability equation to calculate the seed constants. The viability constants of sorghum seed were provisionally proposed as K□=10.588, C□=6.305. Cн=0.041, C□=0.000349. The superiority by using logarithmic term of seed moisture contents and the adoption of a quadratic term for temperatre in the equation was compared with simpler equations. It was found that under present experiment conditions, the more complex equation provided a marginally better fit. |
