中文摘要 | 本論文主要針對陶瓷覆膜刀具選用不同覆膜技術和陶瓷材料作磨耗分析,所選用之陶瓷覆膜方法有化學蒸鍍法及物理蒸鍍法,選用之陶瓷粉末為氮化鈦 (TiN) 及碳化鈦 (TiC)。利用正交圓柱磨耗試驗 (ASTMG-83) 模擬切削過程之機構,以陶瓷覆膜之高速鋼 (HSS) 為固定圓棒,高速鋼圓柱為旋轉圓棒,兩者作正交接處磨耗,量測其磨耗量;同時依照上述陶瓷覆膜方法及陶瓷材製造陶瓷車刀作實際切削試驗,車材為低碳鋼 (S25C),車刀底材為高速鋼 (HSS)。此外,並使用電子顯微鏡 (SEM) 觀察刀具破壞之機構和能譜儀 (EDS) 作成份分析。實驗數據顯示,刀腹磨耗是以TiN覆膜為較佳之耐磨材質,其刀腹磨耗量約為無覆膜高速鋼車刀之1/3,而刀面凹陷深度則是以TiC覆膜為較佳之耐磨材質,其刀面凹陷深度約為無覆膜高速鋼車刀之1/20。同時陶瓷車刀主要磨耗機構為砂磨及黏著。 |
英文摘要 | The research focuses on the wear performance of ceramic cutting tools using various coating techniques and ceramic materials. The coating techniques chosen in this paper are PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) and CVD (Chernical Vapor Deposition). The ceramic materials used in the testing are TiN and TiC. A Crossed-Cy1inder Wear Testing (ASTM G-83) is used to simulate the mechanism of cutting processes. Full hard high speed steel (HSS) cylinders are urn against a ceramic coated stationary HSS cylinder. Following the above coating methods and ceramic materials, we also manufacture ceramic coatings of cutting tools to do real testing. The workpiece is S25C steel and the base material of cutting tool is HSS. In addition, SEM and EDS are used to observe the wear mechanisms in the cutting tools and analyze the compositions of specimens. Results reveal that TiN coatings is a better resistant material in the flank wear of cutting tools while TiC coatings is a better resistant material in the face crater depth of cutting tools. Also, the main wear mechanisms of the ceramic coating tool are abrasion and adhesion. |
