| 中文摘要 | 本文研究甲醛在酸性電解質水溶液中於鉛陰極上行電解二聚化以合成乙二醇的反應。利用實驗計畫的正交設計分析方法安排試驗及解析所得結果。文中詳論溫度、pH、電流密度及攪拌等程序參數對電流效率及作用電壓等系統特徵的影響。實驗結果顯示由甲醛電解合成乙二醇的反應可行,但其機構甚複雜。電流密度及溫度是影響電流效率的主要因素。攪拌不利乙二醇的收率,且電流效率隨時間而下降。 |
| 英文摘要 | The electrolytic dimerization of formaldehyde has been investigated at lead cathode in acidic solutions. Orthogonal design besed on fixed model approach was adopted to construct an experimental plan. Statistical techniques are used to analyze experimental results. Also, the effects of process factors, e.g., temperature, pH, current density and agitation, on current efficiency and applied voltage are studied. On the basis of these results, we can conclude that the electrosynthesis of ethylene glycol is feasible and the electroreduction of formaldehyde on a lead electrode is a complex reaction. Preliminary data obtained reveal that operating current density and temperature are the most critical parameters governing the current efficiency of ethylene glycol formation from formaldehyde. Agitation has an adverse effect on yield of ethylene glycol. Furthermore, current efficiency generally decreases with prolonged electrolysis time. |
