中文摘要 | 本研究報告係探討台灣杉及杉木之旋切單板經滾輪壓展機壓展成連續網狀織維單板後,所製作而成之連續網狀織維單皈層積材(Zephyr wood)供作家具構件之接合性能。本實驗使用雙木釘、楠圓形樟和長方形樟三種接合方式,以及UP、PVAc兩種膠料,將該層積材製作成T型及L型試片,再測定其引拔強度及最大彎矩(抗彎強度),實驗結果如次:1.台灣杉Zephyr wood和衫木Zephyr wood構件之接合最大彎矩與引拔強度,就接合方式而言,其為長方形榫接合>橢圓形榫接合>木釘接合。但兩種接合強度除以膠合面積後所得之單位膠合面積接合強度則為木釘接合>橢圓形榫接合>長方形榫接合。2.當使用UF膠料時,杉木Zephyr wood構件之接合最大彎矩及引拔強度會大於台灣核Zephyr wood構件;而台灣杉Zephyr wood構件使用PVAc膠料時可得到得到較高之接合強度。3.使用UF膠料接合之試片其最大彎矩及引拔強度均大於使用PVAc膠料接合試片,平均約1.27倍。4.UF膠料接合強度/PVAc膠料接合強度之比值,各為台灣杉Zephyr wood構件為1.03~1.37,衫木Zephyr wood構件為1.21~1.60。5.三種接合方式之接合強度受不同膠料之影響程度為木釘接合>橢圓形榫接合>長方形榫接合。此意味著膠合面積愈小之接合方式,其接合強度受膠合劑的影響程度愈大。 |
英文摘要 | This paper reports the feasibility of using Zephyr wood of Taiwania (Taiwania cryptomeria) and China fir (Cunninghamia lanceolata (Lamb) Hook.) for making furniture components. Zephpy wood made from 2 mm and 4 mm thick rotary cut veneer, were used as blanks for making type and L type members with three types of joints and two kinds of adhesives. The withdrawal strengths and bending moment (bending strength) of these joints were evaluated. The experimental results are summarized as follows: (1). The magnitudes of withdrawal strengths and maximum bending moment (bneding strength) of joints for Taiwania and China fir Zephyr wood members had the following characteristics: rectangular-end mortise and tenon joint> oval-end mortise and tenon joint> dowel joint. However, when both strengths were divided by the bonding area and considered as the unit bonding area strength of a joint , a reverse order situation appeared as follows; dowel joint> oval-end mortise and tenon joint> rectangular-end mortise and tenon joint. (2). When UF adhesive was used as binder for joints, the maximum bending moment and withdrawal strength of joints for China fir Zephyr wood members were greater than those of Taiwania Zephyr wood members. However, Taiwania Zephyr wood member showed higher values of joint strength when PVAc gule used as a binder. (3). When UF adhesive was used as binder for joints, the maximum bending moment and withdrawal strength of joints for both wood specises Zephyr wood members were larger than those when PVAc was used as gule. The average values of both joint strengths for UF gule joint specimens were 1.27 times higher than those of PVAc gule joint specimens. (4). The ratio values of UF gule joint strength to PVAc gule joint strength were 1.03~1.37 for Taiwania Zephyr wood members, and 1.21 ~1.60 for China fir Zephyr wood members respectively. (5). The effect of different gules on joint strengths for three types of joints had the following order; dowel joint> oval-end mortise and tenon joint> rectangular-end mortise and tenon joint. This means that gule type greater effect on the joint strengths of joint with smaller bonding area. |
