中文摘要 | 本計畫探討中文版LOGO作為我國國小資訊課程初學者語言之適用性。 電腦語言種類繁多且功能各異,為達到研究目的,本計畫選擇通用初學者語言 BASIC與中文LOGO做比較,以國立台東師院附屬國民小學五、六年級學童為研 究對象,每組三班進行分組試教,觀察學童學習情形與困難,前於學期末做測試 及晤談表現特殊之受測學童(包括表現特優與落後學童),分析其學習差異與成 效,各項結果加以整理分析後,得到如下結論: 1.CHLOGO組與QuickBASIC組之平均分數無顯著差異。 2.男女學童之平均分數有顯著差異。 3.五、六年級學童之平均分數有顯著差異。 4.男學童CHLOGO組與QuickBASIC組之平均分數無顯著差異。 5.女學童CHLOGO組與QuickBASIC組之平均分數無顯著差異。 6.五年級學童CHLOGO組與QuickBASIC組之平均分數無顯著差異。 7.六年級學童CHLOGO組與QuickBASIC組之平均分數無顯著差異。 因此,對於教育部預定於幾年後全面推廣國民小學資訊教育,提出如下建議:1. 可選用LOGO或BASIC作為國小學童初學者語言,因其適用性相當。2.應從四年 級開始及早實施資訊課程,啟發學童從做中學習的精神。3.應進一步探討男女 學童學習電腦差異的成因,並找出補救之道。 |
英文摘要 | This study explores theappropriateness of Chinese version LOGO as thebeginner's computer language for elementary school students. There are a varietyof computer languages. Each one of them is different from the other in syntaxesand functions. In order to achieve the objective, LOGO and BASIC are selectedto be taught in the exprimental elementary school of Taitung Teachers' College forthe fifth and sixth grade students. Each grade is divided into two groups.One Group initiates into LOGO while the other into BASIC.Observations, tests andinterviews are conducted to compare the leamingdifferences between groups.Afteranalysis of data, major findings are given as follows: 1. There is no significant difference between CHLOGO and QuickBASIC groups. 2. There is significant difference between boys and girls groups. 3. There is significant difference between the fifth and sixth grade groups. 4. There is no significant difference between CHLOGO and QuickBASIC groups of boys. 5. There is no significant difference between CHLOGO and QuickBASIC groups of girls. 6. There is no significant difference between CHLOGO and QuickBASIC groups of the fifth grade 7. There is no significant difference between CHLOGO and QuickBASIC groups of the sixth grade. Therefore, in order to promote the computer education for elementary schoolsin the years to come, we suggest that 1. Either LOGO or BASIC can be selected as the computer initiation language, as they are equally appropriate. 2. Computer courses should be offered as early as possible, for example, starting from the fourth grade one hour per week. 3. Further investigation should be conduted to find out the real cause of the performance gap between boys and girls and to implement the proper remedial procedures. |
