英文摘要 | Cognitive psychology and cognitive sciences are current trend of psychology. These papers are from a point views of a psychologial researcher to have a historical review of the philosophical thinking basis of cognitive sciences. These papers also review the history of relative field of experimental psychology. From the historical review, we can get a connection between the westen thinking and the Buddhist idea about "senses", "consciousness", and "contacts"; and a connection between the Westen thinking and the old Chinese idea of wholism of physical world and human world. Then the research construct of "psycho-epistemology" are raised. Research domain are divided into three levels in this constract, they are perceptual mind, cognitive mind, and epistemological mind. Also, the orientation of the studies of the sixth mind are the core rationale through the whole construct. The methodology of psycho-epistemology has two kinds of methods. One is to undiscover the unconsciousness to consciousness. The other is to find the conflict experiences and conflict concepts in consciousness. When the conflict been solved, the higher order concept will be gotten. These papers also point out the relationship of the term between Western and Easten idea. The "senses" are the sensation organ, the "contacts" are stimulus in the physical world, and the contact of each senses with each correspondance stimulus is the "consciousness", and the "consciousness" have the same meaning of the psychological term of perception and congnition. The sixth senses, consciousness, and contactscontains multiple meanings: intention, attention, emotion, memory, and synesthesia. In Easten, to improve the understanding of the sixth senses is thought the practice of having pure mind and hollow mind. It's more like an insightor awareness. These papers, following the Western thinking processes, advocate that methodology. |
