中文摘要 | 引進資訊系統來協助MIS的有效運作,是企業的重要決策,因為它不但涉及到資 源的配置與組織規模的決定,而且對日後系統的維護成本、使用者滿意程度,都具有很重要 的影響。職是,在何種情境下該採用何種引進策略,才能提昇系統績效,應是企業實施電腦 化的重要決策。自製或外購的決定,應是引進資訊系統最先考慮的要項,故有深入探討的必 要。 本研究是以Williamson(1991)的交易成本觀點,針對台北的22家廣告業者,進行研究。 企圖驗證:1.企業屬性與交易成本影響資訊系統引進方式的程度, 2.當引進方式有所不同 時,使用者資訊滿意度是否會隨之改變,以及 3.情境因素的引入,能否產生引進方式-使 用者滿意度關係的差異。 研究結果發現:除了「交易的不確定」外,「市場競爭狀況」、「資產專屬性」、與「投機 行為」均能影響引進方式;企業策略定位不會影響系統;使用者特徵的引入並不會影響系統 引進方式與使用者滿意度之間的關係;「高知識複雜度、高技術複雜度」的系統比「低知識複 雜度、高技術複雜度」的系統更令使用者感到滿意。基於研究的發現,本研究提議: 1. 應視資訊科技為一重要之競爭武器 2. 應與系統提供者建立一緊密的長期關係 3. 在人員遴選上不必刻意考慮人員的電腦知識 4. 重視資訊人員的培育與資訊經驗的累積 |
英文摘要 | Adopting an Is to assist business operations is an important decision, because it is not only involed in the decisions of resource allocation and organization size, but also has a profound effect on future maintenance cost and user satisfaction. Therefore, deciding which adoption strategy(make or buy) is most appropriate under different situations in order to enhance system performance is without doubt a critical decision. Based on the concept of transaction cost proposed by Williamson (1911), this study selects 22 Taiwan advertising agencies in an attempt to (1) test the degree to which the organizational characteristics and transaction cost affect adoption strategy, (2) find out whether or not the degree of satisfaction will change in response to different adoption strategy, and (3) understand whether the relationship between adoption strategy and user satisfaction will change under different situations. The study concludes that (1) market competition condition, asset idiosyncracy and opportunism will affect the adoption strategy, (2) business strategy orientation will not affect the adoption strategy, (3) user characteristics will not affect the relationship between adoption strategy and user satisfaction, (4) systems with high knowledge complexity and low technical complexity will bring forth higher degree of user satisfaction than systems with low knowledge complexity and high technical complexity. Based on the research findings, the study recommends that (1) organization should treat information technology as an important competitive weapon, (2) organization should establish a long-term relationship with system builders, (3) as far as user satisfaction is concerned, computer knowledge and experience are not critical in employee selection, and (4) organization should focus on Is people development and experience accumulation. |
