英文摘要 | This study used the psychophysical approach to determine the maximum acceptable weight of lift (MAWL) and used strength variables and anthropometric variables as predictors to develop prediction models. Thirteen young Chinese male subjects were recruited for the study. Each subject performed 12 different lifting tasks involving three box size and four lifting frequencies. A total of fifteen prediction models were developed, based on isometric strength, isoinertial strength, and anthro-pometric data. The result showed that models developed in this study could predict the MAWL with a reasonable degree of accuracy. However, a comparison of the models revealed that dynamic models were better than static models. The isoinertial knuckle height strength and shoulder height strength were found as the most economical, easily applied, and representative test. |
