中文摘要 | 本研究為探討影響紙張結構因子之第二篇報告,評估備漿條件對手抄紙紙張結構之影響。試驗以臺灣二葉松、相思樹及玫瑰桉試材自行製漿、漂白,並與商業漿料配合,經荷蘭式與PFI打漿機叩解至不同之游離度後抄造手抄紙。再以電腦影像分析系統評估紙張結構之優劣與備漿條件因子間之相互關係及其重要性。綜合試驗結果如下: 1.打漿使纖維長度變短,細胞壁膨潤、剝裂,產生帚化及細纖物,使纖維間之結合面積增加,紙張之散射係數及吸光度降低。適度打漿有助改善紙張交織,過度打漿則對紙張交織不利。 2.PFI打漿機之作用較荷蘭式打漿機和緩,漿料叩解至游離度CSF500mL 以下時,荷蘭式打漿處理可得較佳之紙張交織。經荷蘭式打漿機叩解後抄造的紙張較PFI打漿機叩解者具較高之白度與不透明度。 3.針葉樹漿攙合短纖闊葉樹漿可改善其紙張交織,尤以二葉松漿與相思樹漿混抄之紙有較好之紙張結構。 4.商業紙漿中短纖牛皮漿抄造之紙交織較佳,長纖牛皮漿會形成較大絮凝,使交織變差。化學熱磨漿之纖維較長,粗細度大,其絮凝趨勢較高,紙張交織較牛皮漿抄製者為劣。 5.紙張交織變化以紙張影像灰階變異數及吸光度變異係數判定者與紙張纖維的粗細度平方根或一含粗細度、長度參數及紙張基重等參數的關係式有良好的相關。 |
英文摘要 | This is the second paper investigation factors affecting paper formation. The effects of stock preparation and pulp blending on handsheet formation were evaluated. Kraft kpulping and bleaching of long-fiber Pinus taiwanensis, short-fiber Acacia confusa and Eucalyptus grandis were carried out. These and commercial kraft and CTMP pulps were refined either with a Valley beater or a PFI mill to various freeness. The formations of the handsheets prepared in the standard fashion from various pure and blended stocks were then compared to establish the importance and interactions of stock preparation parameters. The results are summarized as follows: 1.Refining lowers scattering coefficient and light absorbence of the sheets. Moderate refining improves paper formation while excessive refining tends to worsen it. 2.The refining actions of the PFI mill are gentler than that of the Valley beater. Pulps refined to below 500 mL CSF with the beater give better sheet formation and retain better brightness and opacity than those refined with PFI mill. 3.Blending hardwood pulp to softwood pulp effectively improves sheet formation. Blend of Pinus taiwanensis, and Acacia confusa shows particularly marked improvements. 4.Commercial hardwood kraft pulp offers the best sheet formation while softwood kraft pulp tends to flocculate and shows poorer formation. Handsheets made from CTMP have poorer formation than the the corresponding kraft pulp. 5.Judging from the grey level variances and coefficients of variation of light absorbence of paper images, these formation parameters show very good agreement with the Corte-Dodson relationship and the square roots of fiber coarseness. |
