| 英文摘要 | Dr. Sun Yat-sen. the founder of the Republic of China, organized the first revolutionary organization -Hsing Chung Hui(The Revive China Society), a combination of traditional Chinese secret society pratices and western political purposes. Sun's early education aquainted him with the United State's republican form of government and his years spent in Hawaii impressed him with its operation. Obviously. Sun took the United State's republican systems as the model to establish the Republic China. During the years of 1894-1905. Sun made his effort to enlarge the revolutionary organizations in the overseas Chinese communities on Hawaii and in the United States. He went back to Hawaii three times during the period. It was in June. 1896 when Sun entered the United States for the first time. with a Chinese passport. He took his second trip to the United States in April, 1904. as an American citizen. Sun wasted no time in traveling to and speaking before the scattered Chinese communities, trying to organize and amalgamated Hsing Chung Hui and Hung Men Hui into a united revolutionary organization. Sun. in fact. was discourged. The trips had born little fruit for his effort and Sun decided to change his tactics. |
