中文摘要 | 本研究以151位20-50歲女性為對象,研究正常體重和不同程度肥胖女性之身體組成及基礎代謝率之異同,這151-1位女性依理想體重百分比分為正常體重組(80-120)、輕度肥胖組(120-140)、中度肥胖組(140-183)。三組之平均體重分別為52.5±0.5、68.9 ± 1.0、80.5 ± 1.6kg (p<0.001),身高及年齡則無明顯差異。每位受試者以間接熱量測定儀測定其基礎代謝率,並以生電阻抗分析法測量體組成。體組成測量結果:正常體重組、輕度肥胖組及中度肥胖組之身體脂肪含量百分比分別為27.4 ± 0.4,34.1 ± 0.4、36.6 ± 0.5,彼此間有顯著差異。基礎代謝率在正常體重組、輕度及中度肥胖組則分別為1069 ± 11、1250 ± 26、1358 ± 29kcal/day (P<0.01)。進一步分析結果顯示,無論正常體重組或肥胖組,其基礎代謝率與體重、瘦體組織有較高的正相關性;其次,脂肪組織對基礎代謝率亦有影響。利用本研究室以正常體重國人導出之基礎代謝率佔算模式,求得受試者基礎代謝率之預估值與實測值比較結果顯示,肥胖者實際測得之基礎代謝率較預估值為低,且肥胖程度愈大,與預估值之差距愈大。同時基礎代謝率實測值分別以單位體重或瘦體組織表示時,其值隨肥胖程度遞減,有統計上羞異。故而肥胖者的基礎代謝率相對於正常體重者而言是屬於能量代謝低下(hypometabolic,體質。 |
英文摘要 | This study was designed to study body composition and basal metabolic rate (BMR) in women with normal body weight and those with various degree ofobesity. One hundred and fifty one women with their age ranged from 20 to 50 were divided into three groups, based on the percentages of actual body weightto the ideal body weight: normal weight group (80-120), mildly 'obese group (120-140), moderately obese group (140-183). The average body weight of thethree groups were 52.5 ± 0.5, 68.9 ± 1.0, and 80.5±1.6 kg, respectively (p< 0.001).The age and height among the three groups were similar. BMR was measuredwith indirect calorimetry and body composition was measured with bioelectricalimpedance analysis. Results indicated that the percentage of body fat of thethree groups were 27.4 ± 0.4, 34.1 ± 0.4, and 36.6 ± 0.5, respectively (p<0.001). BMR increased as the body weight increased. In all groups, BMR was positivelycorrelated with the body weight, lean body mass as well as the fat mass. BMR value, when corrected by unit body weight and unit lean body mass, decreasedas the increase of the extent of obesity. These results suggest that obesewoman is hypometabolic as compared to women with normal body weight. |
