中文摘要 | 目前臺灣社會已進入終身教育階段,整個教育思潮走向終身教育的理念,實肇因 於社會快速變遷的關係,如人口結構的改變 -- 人口高齡化;科技帶來的影響 -- 資訊社會 化;及就業市場的快速變化,使得每個人不得不時時需要學習,不斷接受新知自我充實。因 此近幾年來,政府積極研擬、規劃、推動終身性的社會教育,透過現代化公共圖書館的有效 推展,以達到終身教育的目標。鄉鎮圖書館是公共圖書館體系中分布最廣,數量最多,與社 區民眾關係最為密切之基層社教機構,其經營之良窳實關係到社會教育之落實與否。本文旨 在以龍潭鄉立圖書館為個案之分析,採調查訪問方式,就其目前各項業務推展之現況及營運 上所遭遇之困難問題加以探討,並提出可行之建議,以作為其他鄉鎮圖書館營運之參考。 |
英文摘要 | Now, the society of Taiwan has entered the step of lifetime education. The entire educational thoughts trended to the concept of lifetime education by reason of the quick vicissitudes of society, for example, the changes of population structure--the senility of population; the influence of the technology--the socialization of information; and the prompt changes of employment market. So everybody must learn continually and accept new knowledge. Recently, Government had studied, planned and pushed the lifetime social education and hoped to attain the goal of lifetime education by the effective push of modern public library. Community libraries were numerous and spread widely in the system of public libraries. They had close relationship with people. The social education carried out or not, the management of community libraries had played important role. This article was intended to analyze the case--Long Tarn Community Library. The methods used were interviews and visits. We were taking into consideration of their service items and discussed the difficulties of the library operations, and finally, made recommendations for others libraries. |
