中文摘要 | 九年一貫課程於九十學年度起逐步在中小學實施,其主要特色就在於課程統整與教學創新,因此多元的統整模式和創新教學策略應該受到重視,而問題導向學習(problem-based learning, PBL)就是其中之一。問題導向學習自從1963年麥馬斯特大學(McMaster University)倡導以來已廣泛受到採用。本行動研究關注到國民中學九年一貫課程統整課程、創新教學的焦點,規劃PBL做為可行的方案,透過文獻探討和參加研討會瞭解PBL的單元設計及實施的教學步驟,然後以研習方式從臺北市355位國中教師裡找出19位國中教師做為合作夥伴,以工作坊實地設計22則PBL單元,並用於24班721位國中生的教學。本行動研究並以教師反省札記、焦點團體座談、問卷調查及教室觀察做為研究資料蒐集的方法。 問題導向學習可說是超學科的統整模式之一,其預期效果受到本行動研究大部分參與師生的肯定,認為可以應用到國中九年一貫課程,做為一項創新教學策略。本文綜合文獻探討、行動經驗和反省結果,提出具體的PBL單元設計、實施步驟、分組方式、及實施時遭遇困難的處理策略,期盼做為國中九年一貫課程統整課程和創新教學之參考。 |
英文摘要 | The nine-year curriculum is applied at primary and junior high schools in Taiwan sicne 2001. The new curriculum emphasizes curricular integration and instructional innovation. Thus multiple teaching methods are getting more attention. Problem-based learning is one of them that have prevailed increasingly in primary and secondary schools after McMaster University initiated since 1963. The main purpose of this research is to investigate the design and implementation of problem-based learning in the junior high schools of Taipei city. According to this purpose, the collaborative action research is adopted in the plan. There are nineteen teachers and seven hundred twenty two students involved. We have designed twenty-two units that were implemented in twenty-four classes. The methods of gathering data are literature review, teachers' reflective notes, questionnaire, classroom observation, and focus group interview. Problem-based learning is the model of transdisciplinary integration. Most of the teachers and students in the plan recognize its' potential effects. It may be applied in nine-year curriculum at junior high level. The contribution of this research is to construct PBL models in curricular design and instructional strategies. It also provides the experiences of units and worksheets planning, teaching process adapting, grouping, and strategies for dealing with troubles during implementing. |
