中文摘要 | 課外閱讀,能讓孩子們快樂、成長,並可增強孩子們的生活適應能力,幫助孩子們學習較易成功,對孩子們的日後發展影響重大。學校圖書館的運用,左右了學童們的閱讀興趣、能力與習慣的培養。如何有效地提升學童的閱讀興趣及經常運用圖書館的良好習慣,實為改進教育品質的重要關鍵。 本研究乃以質的研究方法(qualitative method),應用參與式觀察(participart observation)及非結構性訪談(informant interview)方式進行探索。研究對象為台北市市區及郊區國小各乙所,透過觀察及訪談相關人員,瞭解學童課外閱讀及運用學校圖書館的 實際情況。發現不同的地區、年級、性別及教師輔導方式,造成不同的結果。 |
英文摘要 | Outside reading has a great influence on the development of primary schoolchildren. It provides them a happy childhood, helps strengthen their reading andlearning ability as well as their adaptability to new environments. The use of theschool library is of great help in forming the reading habit, the development of reading ability, and thd growth of interest in reading. How to effectively help studentsculitvate an interest in reading and form a habit of using the school library is, therefore, a key to the improvement of the quality of our education. This study was conducted using a qualitative method, which included participantobservation and informant interviews to understand the real situations in which schoolchildren are doing outside reading and using the school library. The subjects werestudents from two primary schools, one in the city of Taipei, and the other in a suburb. After an observation of the children and interviews with the teachers and schoolstaff concerned, it was found that school district, the grade and sex of the students, and the teacher's way of instruction were the factors that led to different results. |
