中文摘要 | 本研究主要目的,在探討父母基本因素對中學生職業價值觀念和生涯發展的影響。隨機抽取國、高中學生各十班,共計817位中學生為本研究的有效樣本。經施以職業價值量表、生涯發展量表和學生背景調查表後,復以迴歸向前還取法 (Regression Forward Selection Method) 統計、分析樣本學生所得約各樣分數,以回答本研究所提出的問題和研究假設。 本研究的發現有:(一) 父親的職業地位顯著地影響了中學生的變化性、物質報償和自我表達等職業價值,以及職業價值量表上的總分;(二) 父親的教育程度也顯著地影響了中學生的行為控制和同事贊賞兩項職業價值取向;(三) 父親的教育程度顯著地影響了中學生的生涯規畫、生涯探索、職業訊息、生涯發展態度、生涯發展知能和生涯取向總分;(四) 母親的職業地位是影響中學生生涯決策的首要因素;(五) 由迴歸向前次選程序中,也發現父親的教育程度對中學生的生涯決策行為有相當的影響力,而父親的職業地位亦對中學生的職業訊息和生涯發展知能有顯著的影響力。因此,本研究建議:(一) 提供一套有效的親子生涯教育方案;(二) 結合家庭和學校的力量,共謀子女的生涯發展計畫;(三) 加強學校生涯理論和輔導效能的研究;(四) 改善學校生涯教育和輔導、諮商的措施;(五) 慎選合適的研究方法和評量工具,以利未來研究的成效。 |
英文摘要 | The primary purpose of this Study was to examine the parental influences on Taiwanese secondary student's work values and career development. Twenty classes (817 students) were used as samples for this study. All of them were administered the Work Values Inventory, Career Development Inventory, and Student Background Survey, A regression forward selection procedure were conducted to answer the proposed research questions and research hypotheses. The present study supported several findings: 1.The study differentiated the most influential father's occupational status on Taiwanese secondary student's work values of variety, material returns, self-expression, and the total score of Work Values Inventory. 2. Father's educational level had the most influence on student's work values of behavior control and associate approval. 3. Father's educational level was a key influence on student's career development of career planning, career exploration, world-of-work information, career development attitude, career development knowledge and skills, and the career orientation total. 4. Mother's occupational status was the key influence on student's career decision-making behavior. 5. According to the second-order analysis of forward selection procedure, the study also found out that father's educational level had the significant influence on student 's career decision-making, and his occupational status had the significant knowledge and skills, too. Therefore, the results of the study supported all hypotheses. Recommendations included: 1. The development of a useful parent-child career education program for Taiwanese families. 2. A combination of family and school for helping the student develop a proper career planning for himself. 3. Research into the effectiveness of career education and guidance programs on student's career development in Taiwan. 4. Reforms in school counseling programs to comprehensive career education and guidance programs in Taiwan. 5. Consider the research method and technique for future investigation in Taiwan. |
