中文摘要 | 本研究之主要目的,在瞭解國一學生數學焦慮的一般情形,探討數學焦 慮與數學態度的關係,以及數學焦慮與數學成就的關係,並分析造成國一學生數 學焦慮的成因。 本研究採調查研究法和相關研究法。研究對象為台灣地區764名(男364,女400) 國一學生,所有受試者均接受數學焦慮量表、數學態度量表和數學成就三種測 驗。經由統計分析,本研究獲得下列四項主要發現:一、國一學生之數學焦慮指 數平均數為13.5,其中男生平均數12.4,女生平均數14.6。二、國一男女生在數學 焦慮上達顯著差異。三、國一學生之數學焦慮與數學態度呈顯著負相關;數學焦 慮與數學成就呈顯著負相關。四、造成國一學生數學焦慮的成因主要有五;(一) 挫折經驗的累積(二)考試頻繁的壓力(三)對數學教師教學氣氛的感受(四)對數學 教師的教學方法適應不良(五)解題能力的基礎不足。 |
英文摘要 | The purposes of this study were to understand the mathematicsanxiety among the seventh grade students in Taiwan, to explore thecorrelation between mathematics anxiety, mathematics attitude, andmathematics achievement, and to analyze the reasons which resulted inmathematics anxiety of students. This was a survey research and a' correlation research. Thesample consisted' of 764 seventh grade students in Taiwain (400 girlsand 364 boys). Three instruments including MARS, MAS and MATwere administered to these students. Four main findings of this study were as follows:1. The average score of mathematics anxiety among the seventh grade students was 13.5. The average scores of boys and girls were 12.4 and 14.6 respectively.2. There was a signficant difference between the girls and the boys in mathematics anxiety.3. Mathematics anxiety was significantly negatively correlated both with mathematics attitude and with mathematics achievement4. Five main reasons which resulted in mathematics anxiety of the seventh grade students were as follows: frustrations after experiencing numerous failures, pressures of highly frequent tests, feelings for learning atmosphere, inadaptabilities to teaching style, and poor abilities of problem solving. |
