| 英文摘要 | Synopsis: In this study, class F fly ash was used as the basic granulating material. Catalysts and binders were added to understand the behavior of granulated and the accelerating curing technology was considered as well. Test results indicate that granulating rate closely relates to the slant angles of the disc, the revolving rate, the methods of adding admixtures and granulating time. Though aluminum powder could reduce unit weight and raise the strength of fresh particles, it made detrimental effect on other properties. The adding of hydrophilic seed was helpful to reduce the granulating duration and increase productivity. In curing, the results show that under assigned relative humidity the higher the temperature is, the more rapid and higher the strength is achieved. It is relatively important to maintain temperature or it may affect the strength. Normal steam curing, autoclave curing and microwave steam curing all make beneficial effect on raising the strength of fly ash lightweight aggregates, especially autoclave steam curing. The differences in curing effect are due to difference in mix proportion of aggregates and curing duration. |
