| 英文摘要 | Cerebral arterial infarction in newborn infants is infrequently reported because often the specific clinical signs such as hemiparesis are lacking, diagnosis has usually been made at autopsy in the past. Here the clinical symptoms, risk factors, etiologies, ultrasonographic study results, computed tomography (CT) scan or magnetic resonance image (MRI) findings and neurodevelopmental outcome of seven full-term infants are reported. Four of these 7 infants had repetitive apnea and cyanosis, 3 had focal motor seizures and one had no symptoms. Perinatal risk factors included asphyxia, septic meningitis, pneumonia, twins, congenital heart disease and unknown origins. Initial brain sonography showed increased parenchymal echogenecity, absence of focal vascular pulsation and territorial distribution. All these cases became suspect when undergoing sonography, and were then proved by CT or MRI scans. These infants have been followed from 6 months to 3 years. Two cases revealed mild hemiparesis, one had psychomotor delay and no definite hard neurologic signs were observed in three of them. |
