英文摘要 | This study investigates long-range surface-plasma waves (LRSPW) traveling along metal- dielectric interfaces in the Sarid configuration. Approximations of the reflectivity are derived from the Fresnel formulas. Furthermore, approximate expressions of the damping rate and intensity of LRSPW are also worked out. Theoretical simulations are also performed regarding the effects of metal film thickness on LRSPW's intensity and damping rate. Based on the results presented herein, we can conclude that the position and depth of resonant dip are deeply affected by the thickness of metal film in addition, the variations of both the intensity and damping rate of LRSPW with the thickness of metal film are highly sensitive for a metal film's smaller thickness. |
