| 中文摘要 | 豬緊迫綜合癥候群(Porcine stress syndrome,PSS)已被證實為一種遺傳疾病 (genetic disorder),導致養豬業重大的經濟損失。具有緊迫綜合癥候群之豬在諸如 混群、運輸或配種的緊追時引起猝死,或屠宰後屠體產生蒼白、柔軟及滲水之豬 肉(pale,soft and exudative,PSE)。本試驗係利用目前廣泛使用鹵乙烷麻醉劑來檢測 其所誘導出之肌肉收縮失調之缺陷,藉以判定豬隻緊迫敏感性。但只能檢測出具 有兩隱性之突變基因(n/n)之豬隻,雜合子(N/n)豬則無法被檢出。本試驗以具有高 緊迫陽性反應頻率之雄親豬交配帶有緊迫敏感基因純合子之母豬與雜台子之母 豬所生之後代,經鹵乙烷測試,判定其緊迫敏感性,以及比較父內母間即具緊迫 陽性反應仔豬之母畜與無陽性反應仔豬之母畜間之出生窩仔數與體重,三週齡窩 仔數與體重,探討緊迫發生頻度及其對繁殖性能之影響。於本省北部兩大種豬場 進行鹵乙烷測試結果,經統計分析所篩選藍瑞斯、約克夏及杜洛克三大品種計 3095頭小豬(體重15~30公斤)中,具有緊迫敏感陽性反應者,藍瑞斯品種有5.23, 約克夏品種有2.40,杜洛克品種有6.39。同時發現緊迫敏感豬與耐緊迫豬之繁殖 性能,在所測試之品種均有顯著性差異(P<0.05),而品種與緊迫豬與耐緊迫豬之 交感作用不顯著。因此加強緊迫敏感豬的遺傳研究及種豬場有效選拔種豬方能減 少豬群中之緊迫敏感豬。 |
| 英文摘要 | Porcine stress syndrome (PSS) is a well-documented geneticdisorder and cause of major economic loss to the pig industry. It cancause sudden deaths in pigs exposed to stress at such times asmixing with other strange animals, transport or mating. It can alsoresult in pale soft exudative (PSE) meat in the carcass afterslaughter. The widely-used halothane test will only pick out thoseanimals that have two copies of the mutant gene (n/n). Thoseheterozygotes with only one copy are still carrier of the gene, cannotbe separated efficiently from normal product by porcine selection.The progeny between high halothane positive response boars andpositive or/and carrier sows were selected by halothane test. And thereproductive performance of between sows within sire on it's littersize and body weight of birth and 21 days data were analysis anddiscuss. In this project we carried out the halothane test on piglet oftwo big farms in northern part of Taiwan. The results of 3095 pigletsfrom 3 breeds (Landrace, Yorkshire and Duroc), the halothanesensitivity (Hal+) pigs of Landrace, Yorkshire and Duroc were 5.23,2.40 and 6.39 respectively. Its evidence the effects of sensitive andresistant pigs on reproductive performance were significance of thesetest breeds (P<0.05), but there were no significance on the interactionbetween breeds and halothane sensitivity. Therefore genetic studyand effective selection can be practiced in breeding farms toeliminate and decrease porcine stress syndrome as while increasingthe reproductive performance of breeding stock. |
