英文摘要 | A series of polyurethane networks have been prepared by reacting polyol blends with 4,4-methylene diphenyl diisocyanate (MDI). Polyol blends were comprised of polyoxyethylene (POE)-tipped polyoxypropylene (POP) triol and diol with various equivalent ratios. Reactions were carried at 50 ℃ in bulk, and the shear moduli of the networks both in equilibrium swelling (in toluene) and dried states were measured at 27 ℃ using uniaxial compression stress-strain measurements. Deviations from Gaussian behaviour were found to decrease as the diol content increased. For polyurethane networks the values of the molar mass between junction points, Mc, greater than 2x10 ��, essentially Gaussian stress-strain behaviour were observed (the deviation approaches to zero). The values of Mc were used in Flory-Huggins equation to characterise the interaction parameter, χ, between network-toluene at equilibrium state. The values of χ increase from 0.444 to 0.504 for the networks of rmedusing 100% triol (M111-0) to 20% triol 80% diol (2t8d-0), which increases with increasing POE content in polyol blend and urthane group concentration in polyurethane networks. |
