中文摘要 | 本文以碎形理論描述層狀土壤之指狀流移動。平均孔隙為估計微觀表面張力的碎形尺度。實驗結果證明以碎形理論預測的較傳統的一階擾動理論為佳。尤其在黏土與黏壤土覆蓋在粗石英沙的二組實驗上。指狀流在流經較細質地的覆蓋土後,其流速愈慢,指狀流的寬度也愈窄,可能是水分的擴散愈慢的緣故。 |
英文摘要 | Fractal theory was applied to describe fingering movement in two-layered soils in this paper. Mean pore size was considered as the fractal scale to estimate surface tension in microscopic scale. Based on fractal estimation, theoretical fingering width agreed better with experimental results when fingering developed in coarse Quartz sand beneath clay and clay loams than the first order perturbation theory. Fingering width reduced as infiltration from finer top layer into coarse Quartz sand because of slower water diffusion rate. |
