英文摘要 | This paper derives mathematical models of surface geometry for lead screws with variable pitch circular-arc helicoids based on the principles of screw matrix transformation. The conditions for determining ribbed and slotted circular-arc threaded variable pitch lead screws are also derived. When two circular-arcs with different center point position have a variable pitch screw motion, simultaneously, will generate two variable pitch circular-arc helicoids. These two helicoids form the threaded surface of lead screws. Finally, solid modeling of a ribbed circular-arc threaded variable pitch lead screw is generated on a workstation. The result of this work is of necessary to the computer-aided manufacturing of ribbed and slotted circular-arc threaded variable pitch lead screws for various industrial applications. |
