中文摘要 | 被動式光纖迴路系統 (Passive Optical Subscriber Loop System) 於系統中使用被動式元件,提供用戶電話、數據、影像等電信服務。本雛型系統初期只用於提供用戶電話服務,其硬體架構主要由主數位終端 (Host Digital Terminal, EEDT)、光纖分配網路 (Passive Distribution Network,FDN) 及光終端單元 (Optical Network Unit, ONU) 所組成。主數位終端提供系統與交換機之介面,處理信號之編、解碼,時槽分配及交換,最後以信號流驅動雷射光源以產生相對應之光信號。光纖分配網路提供主數終端傳送到各個光終端單元的路徑,而光終端單元則將光信號轉換成電信號後,經由時槽交換處理將各用戶所屬信號時糟分送至各用戶所對應之介面卡,以提供用戶語音服務。 |
英文摘要 | The passive optical subscriber loop system (POSLS) which uses all pas sive optical components in its fiber distribution network, Can provide tele- communications services such as POTS (Plain Old Telephone Service), date and imaging, etc. The current prototypic system developed by the outside plant project can provide POTS and digital phone. The system consists of a Host Digital Terminal (HDT), a fanned out fiber loop and an Optical, Network Unit (ONU). The main functions of the HDT are interface: between the system and switch, encoding, decoding, switching, timeslots; assignment, and E10 conversion. The fanned out fiber loop links the HD2 and each ONU. The ONU converts optical signal into electrical signal and processes the timeslot interchange. Therefore, the message of a specific timeslot will be sent to an assigned customer service card, and the corres- ponding customer. |
