中文摘要 | 雖然資源基礎理論被視為具有新廠商理論的潛力,但資源與廠商行為及組織疆界之具體之關係為何?多數學者仍舊語焉不詳,顯示實證的支持與理論的精煉有待加強。作者認為從資源基礎觀點來探討資源與廠商成長之關係時,需重新檢視傳統對資源觀察的角度,特別是以前所忽視的無形資產與能力。 經由文獻回顧法,作者發展資源與成長關係之五個命題。當廠商之核心資源為實體資產、無資產或個人能力時,將傾向中度相關成長;當核心資源為財務資產時,將傾向非相關成長;當核心資源為組織能力時,則將傾向高度相關成長。經由個案之觀察,所推心之命題均能獲得支持。 作者推論以資源角度來觀察廠商成長,將能有效的釐清相關與非相關成長之規範性爭議。如果加入了財務資源於相關與非相關成長之分類計算中,則可能無所謂的非相關成長,而只有成功或失敗的成長,成功的成長將會是「資源相關」的成長。 |
英文摘要 | The Resource-based Theory seem as a new theory of the Firm potentially, but the concrete relationships between the resources and the behaviors of the firms or organizational dominants are still ambiguous. It means that empirical research and articulation of the Resource-based Theory must reinforce. From the Resource-based view to explore the growth of the firms, we must rethinking the tradition concepts of there sources. Particularly emphsis on the intangible resources and competences of the firms which we neglect before. This paper uses Literature Review Method to develop 5 propositions. If the core resources of the firms are physical assets or intangible resources or personal competence, the firms will be moderate related growth. If the core resources are financial assets, the firms will be unrelated growth. If the core rescores are organizational competence, the firms will be high related growth. The 5 propositions are all supported by using case study method. The paper infers that normative arguments between related and unrelated growth of the firms will be clarify effectively from the Resource-based view. If the financial assets consider in measures of growth diversity that growth typology could be no unrelated growth, and the typology of growth could be just successful or failed. The successful growth typology could be resource-related. |
