中文摘要 | 人一機互動設計理念已在高度複雜化之功能性產品的界面上,逐漸廣泛地使用。但至今不論其理論之依據或評估上之考量基準,並無任何妥善之具體模式來供參考。為尋找出能以量化的方式,來評估使用者在使用產品界面時所遭遇到之困擾程度,作者以認知心理做為基礎,從『溝通模式』之理論導出干擾因素(Noise)的觀念,並從使用界面上所累積干擾因素值(N)的大小,來判斷人一機互動設計的好壞。本文以不同燈具及按鍵排列組合方式,來實際測試100個使用者之使用情況。藉由統計中所顯示之分佈,了解一般使用者之共通規劃特性:以算出各項統計資料分佈之準差(σ)的大小,代表使用者共同理解界面所提供訊息的程度。σ值越小者即表示分佈越集中,使用者之共通性越高,代表其界面訊息越明確。也就是說其值之大小與界面之明確性成反比,這一點剛好和干擾困素值之大小頗有相吻合之處。作者最後從實際測試之σ值來和理論中之N值大小相比較,以討論驗證作者所提理論之可行性。 |
英文摘要 | The concept of Human-Machine Interaction Design has been widely used in the functional products with complicated interfaces. However, there is no specific theory or standard that can be applied for evaluating the machine interface. In order to find a quantitative measuring way in the evaluation of interface design, the author uses the “Noise Factors(N)” concept from Communication Model Theory. The amount of “Noise Factors” value which is accumulated from an interface design will be the basis for judging the quality of the interface. This testing model is a study of the interaction to the different arrangement of lights and switches position from 100 users. A statistical evaluation from users reaction, by its Standard Deviation Value (σ), will help to understand the distribution of user reaction. The σ value stands for the tendency measurement of the general interaction features in man-machine interface. It looks that the meaning of “N” value from Communication Model Theory is very similar to the “σ” value from statistical evaluation. The author will have a further discussion about their relationship in this study. |
