共使用140尾標本,包括28尾澳洲黑鯛(Acanthopagrus australis),31尾灰鰭鯛(A. berda),34尾黃鰭鯛(A. latus),24尾黑鯛(A. schlegeli),及23尾黃錫鯛(Sparus sarba)。 |
英文摘要 | This paper deals with morphometric studies of 140 sparid specimens belonging to two genera and five species under the subfamily Sparinae. Different multivariate analyses were applied to morphometric characters including traditional and truss measurements. The results of both phonetic clustering and ordination analyses show that these five species belong to two main groups: The first, genus Acanthopagrus, further subdivided with A. australis linked to A. berda and A. latus linked to A. schlegeli; and the second represented by Sparus sarba. The two Acanthopagrus subgroups were closer to each other than to Sparus sarba. The results were in agreement with those obtained by conventional systematics at genus level, but not at interspecific level within the genus Acanthopagrus. The results of principal component analysis indicated that the most important characters which discriminate the two Acanthopagrus subgroups were the characters relevant to body depth, while those for discriminating the Acanthopagrus group from the Sparus group were height of dorsal and anal fin spines, length of anal fin base and characters relevant to the length of caudal peduncle. |
