| 英文摘要 | Phytoseiid predator rearing involves three trophic levels -- plant,spider mite and predator -- and can therefore be considered tritrophic;how to optimally balance the plant-prey-predator dynamics in a wholesystem is the basic objective of predator production. A tritrophicdemographic model is presented for determining the optimal discardages of prey and predator, the conversion rate of plants to harvestablepredators and the stages structure of a balanced system. Thephytoseiid predator, Phytoseiulus persimilis, spider mite, Tetranychusnrticae, and cotton seedling are used in this system, but the conceptsare general. Some practical implications such as the number of plantsand space needed for specific amount of predators production arebriefly discussed. |
