英文摘要 | Ichthyoplankton in the I-lan Bay area was sampled using RMI net during 1991. The purpose of this study was to understand the temporal variation of ichthyoplankton assemblage. This preliminary report analyzed data from four cruises to represent the assemblages of early summer (May), autumn-winter boundary (September and October) and late winter (January), respectively. The densities of egg ranged from 37 to 4,581 inds./1,000 m3, 0.18-2.46g/1,000 m3 and 0.2-4.6 cc/1,000 m3 measured in number, weight and settlement volume, respectively; that of ichthyoplankton 108-932 inds./1,000 m3, 0.60-1.61g/1,000 m3 and 1.7-6.9 cc/1,000 m3, and that of zooplankton 56.08-178.13g/1,000 m3 and 384.9-699.8 cc/1,000 m3. The temporal trends of variation indicated by the density of egg, ichthyoplanton and zooplankton coincided each other. The highest densities occurred in early summer. A total of 14,452 ichthyoplankton have been caught and identified into 49,230 and 140-153 taxa for early summer, autumn-winter boundary and late winter respectively. Those dominate species occurred in water of I-lan Bay were1) Benthosema pterotum (27.8%),2) Hygophum proximum (19.7%),3) Vinciguerria nimbaria (7.8%),4) Ceratoscopelus warmingi (5.0%) and 5) Stomias nebulosus for late winter assemblage; 1) Decapterus sp. (31.1%), 2) Priacanthus macracanthus (12.1%), 3) Parapercis sp. (7.7%), 4) Scomberomorus guttatus (4.5%), and 5) Liza sp. (3.0%) for early summer; and 1) B. pterotum (20.9%), 2) Diaphus pacificus (11.1%), 3) mene maculata (3.7%), 4) Leiognathus rivulatus (3.2%) and 5) Myctophum orientale (3.2%) for autumn-winter boundary. In the summer period those larvae of commercial fishery stock constituted the major component of the ichthyoplankton assemblage. In the winter period, those dominace were replaced by offshore meso-pelagic fishes of no commercial concern. Temporal variations measured by Shannon-Wiener function indicated that although the most abundant taxa occurred in the early summer assemblage the diversity and evenness indices indicated a low among the four samples and the high indices was found in the autumn-winter boundary. |
