英文摘要 | The adjustment of static convergence of color cathode ray tubes (CRT) is done by rotating the Purity Convergence Magnet (PCM) rings. To obtain good static convergence, different color lines of testing pattern, which is a color cross-hatch image on the screen of CRT, should be completely overlapped. In this study, to automate the operation, we use an image processing system for acquiring the information about the consistence of the testing pattern. Also, based on the characteristics of magnetic field produced by PCM, a control mechanism for driving and adjusting the PCM is designed. A visual feedback loop control system, which consists of a CRT, a Charge Coupled Device (CCD) camera, an image processing system, a computer, a motor controller, and an adjustment mechanism, is built. The system shows that the automation of the static convergence adjustment of color CRT is feasible. |
