中文摘要 | 本試驗之目的,在以白色肉雞探討育雛開始三天內之飲水中添加5%糖液對其 死亡率及生長性能之影響。試驗雞隻為0∼6週齡公母混飼之白色肉雞共一萬隻,逢機分為 四處理組(處理一:對照組、處理二:5%蔗糖、處理三:5%紅糖及處理四:5%葡萄糖 液);每組2500隻,糖液處理組入雛後給予5%糖液飲用,對照組給予自來水,三天後全部 飲用自來水,直到六週齡為止。試驗結果顯示糖液處理對雛雞二週於前之死亡率有顯著降低 之效果(P<0.05);飼養全程0∼6週於之死亡率亦明顯降低(P<0.05),唯各種糖液處理組間 彼此無顯著差異(P<0.05);糖液處理可略提高1∼2日齡雛雞之血糖但並不顯著(P>0.05)。 短期飲用糖溶液對內雞之體重、飼料利用效率;屠體重,及腹脂、肝佔屠體比率皆無顯著影 響。孵化後三日齡內飲用蔗糖、葡萄糖皆可降低肉雞之死亡率並對生長性能及屠體品質無不 良影響。 |
英文摘要 | The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of providing sucrose, red sugar and glucose within three-day post-hatching period on the mortality and growth performance of white broilers. The entire feeding period was six weeks. Ten thousands chicks were randomly and equally divided into four treatments. These treatments were control (tap water), only providing 5% sucrose, red sugar, or glucose in drinking water from day one to day three post-hatching. After threeday post-hatching, all broilers were given tap water through the rest of the experiment. The results showed that adding 5% saccharide in drinking water within three-day post-hatching period significantly (p<0.05) decreased the mortality of neonatal chicks before two weeks old but were not significantly different (p>0.05) after. The type of saccharide supplied was also no significant difference (p>0.05) on the neonatl mortality. The amount of blood sugar during the initial two day feeding was slightly increased but was no significant difference (p>0.05) amoung the treatments. In addition, the body weight, carcass weight, feed efficiency, and the ratios of the weights of abdominal pad fat and liver to the weight of carcass were not significantly different (p>0.05). Based on our results, it was suggested that providing sucrose, red sugar and glucose within three-day post-hatching period could decrease the neonatal mortality without affecting the growth performance and carcass quality of white broilers Dept. of animal Science.
