中文摘要 | 本研究旨在探討飼養於污染豬鞭蟲卵的木屑床面豬隻之豬鞭蟲症發生情形及防治方式;該試驗可分為兩階段,第一階段:將21頭體重平均33kg左右的杜洛克品種生長期肉女豬分為兩組,其中14頭飼養於污染豬鞭蟲卵的木屑床面,且每隔14日採取新鮮糞便,以McMaster氏改良法鏡檢計算每克糞便蟲卵數(EPG),以確定外表健康之豬隻於此環境下感染鞭蟲的情形及對生長性能的影響;另外7頭則飼養於水泥床面,以資對照;上面第一階段試驗皆使用相同飼料餵兩組豬隻,於試驗祖豬隻明顯出現感染鞭蟲症狀時予以結束。第二階段:將第一階段飼養於木屑床面的14頭肉豬,依其體重及EPG,平均分配於兩組,其中一組僅於試驗初期供餵以添加牛豬安藥劑(Neguvon)的飼料,另一組則長期供餵以添加效高素(Hygromycin)的飼料;試驗期間每隔14日檢查計算EPG,以確定不同藥劑驅蟲的情形。該階段亦以一般飼料供餵另外頭飼養於水泥床面之豬隻以資對照,所有供試豬隻皆飼養至體重平均100kg左右時結束試驗。 |
英文摘要 | The purpose of this study was to evaluate the control of infection of pigs raised on used shavings beddings contaminated with Trichuris suis. The Study included two parts: Infection of pigs raised on used shavings beedings contaminated with Trichuris suis and control of Trichuris suis in pigs rasied on used shavings. Twenty-one Duroc gilts weighing about 33 kg each were used; fourteen gilts were raised on used shavings beddings, the others raised on concrete floor as a control group. the fecal samples were collected every fourteen days for EPG (Eggs per Gram Feces) calculation by McMaster's method. Pigs were weighed weekly for measuring growth performance. The results of the experiment were as follows: 1. First trial: When no anthelmintics were added into diets, because of pig digging behavior, 28.57% of the pigs were detected with eggs of Trichuris suis in feces on the 6th day after raising on used shavings beddings contaminatd with Trichuris suis; this increased to 57.14% by the 20th day. This further increased to 71.43% on the 26th day with developing diarrhea and weight loss. This showed some pigs were carrier before raising on used shavings beddings. Compared with control group, the average daily gains decreased 82.25% (P<0.01); obviously, the growth performance of pigs infested with Trichuris suis was poor. 2. Second trial: These pigs were administed with two does of Neguvon (60 mg/kg B. W.) mixed in diet or fed a 13.2 ppm Hygromycin diet separately. Neguvon had a better result than Hygromycin for reducing EPG at the beginning of test. After given Hygromycin diet for 100 days, the EPG of used shavngs bedding decreased 42.86%, but Neguvon did not have a disinfecting effect on the used shavings bedding. |
