英文摘要 | Seven molluscan assemblages occur in a Late Pleistocene lagoon sequence of the Szekou Formation in ascending order: the Eucrassatella-Venus (EV), Conus-Fissidentalium (CF), Modiolus (M), Cultellus-Solecurtus (CS), Pinna-Turritella (PT), Crassostrea (C), and Batillaria-Cyclina (BC) assemblages. The assemblage EV is a mixed fauna of both the carbonate platform and lagoon species in incipiently transgressive deposits of the Szekou Fromation. A high diversity of predators in the assemblage CF occurs in the central part of the open lagoon, while the assemblage M with a low diversity develops in the margin. The assemblages CS and PT are dominated by suspension feeders in a stable and normal marine environment. Laster, the gradual filling up of fluvial sediments and the input of fresh water are responsible for a change of mollusks form the normal marine CF-CS-PT fauna to the hyposaline estuary oyster and brackish water fauna of the assemblages C and BC in the uppermost Szekou Formation. The occurrence of these seven assemblages displays a change of community from a mixed pioneer to a mature climax, and finally a relict and opportunistic community. |
