中文摘要 | 外米綴蛾(Corcyra cephalonica (Stainton))以碎粒糙米飼養於26±1° C,70±5RH,12L,12D之生長箱。試驗觀察得知,雌蛾交尾前期最短只須6分 鐘,平均160分鐘,而雄蛾平均交尾前期比雌蛾長,平均789分鐘,最短29分 鐘。雌、雄蛾在羽化當日即有交尾能力。求偶行為分為三部分:1.雄蛾急速飛行、 振翅、接近雌蛾。2.開始時,雌娥表現出抗拒行為如移動或飛至他處,但雄蛾會 很快從背後追上雌蛾。3.雄蛾不斷振翅並接觸雌蛾,然後騎在雌蛾背上,以前足 抓住雌蛾胸部,停止振翅,雄蛾露出腹部末端毛筆狀毛束,腹部末端彎曲呈J字 型,伸出交尾鉗,找尋雌蛾腹部末端完成交尾。 |
英文摘要 | Associate professor, Department of Horticulture National I-LanInstitute ofAgricuture and Technology I-Lan, Taiwan, R.O.C. Rice moth larvae were reared on crushed brown rice at 26±1°C, 50- 80RH, and in a photoperiod of 12 hr light and 12 hr darkness. Themean pe-copulatory period was 166±29.6 minutes for the female, 789.7+76.8 minutes for the male moths. The newly emerged moths wereimmediately available for mating. The copulatory behavior of the ricemoth was directly observed and sequentially photographed. Thefollowing mating behavioral activities were observed: 1 ) The malebegan with rapid wing vibration and fluttering. 2 ) The femaledefenced by immediately moving away but the male speeded upchasing. 3 ) Rapid wing vibration of male unceasingly, then it mountedon the back of the female moth by grasping her thorax. The maleceased wing vibration, and protruded its copulatory organs into thefemale's. |
