英文摘要 | The objective of this study was to investigate systematically the differences in wood properties, in terms of the morphology of the pits of tracheid wall, the structure of pit membrane, as well as the numbers, the size, and the distribution of different types of pits, of Japanese ceder established either by seed or by vegetative cutting. Effects of various thinning intensities on all of these parameters were also studied. In addition, the variations of pit numbers along the radial and axial directions of the trunk as well as that along the demarcation between juvenile wood and mature wood were also illustrated using a semi-Iogrithmic model in the form of TT (TR) = a+ b logX, where TT (TR) is pit numbers and X is the number of annual ring from the pith. |
