英文摘要 | This paper introduces the problem of detecting word boundaries in natural language processing.A Chinese sentence is a string of ideographs, In lexical analysis phase, we break a sentence into components of meaningful unit (i.e. word) and assign proper syntactic category to them. To identify aword is a problem in Chinese because there are no blanks that separate words like English. We presentan algorithm for detecting word boundaries. This algorithm works in a simple way hut it achieves thehighest performance. |
