英文摘要 | Using microprocessors, a star-type computer network is set up. In this system, the central microcomputer can do half-duplex DTMF data transmis-sion with hundreds of submicrocomputers through telephone lines or leased lines. This system thus becomes an all-day-round safety alarm system. There are three special characteristics with this system. (1) low cost hardware. (2) powerful error detection in transmission. (3) modularized hardware implementation. The third one makes it possible to have this system used in a wide range of area - from a building, a plant to even a group of hundreds of points distributed over a large area. |
