| 英文摘要 | Test has been carried out to compare the different methods for determinating the hydrogencontent in welded metals. It has been found that for the three methods employed here, namely hotvacuum extraction method, room temperature diffusible hydrogen method and gas chromatographic method, the measures hydrogen content results were similar. However, each has its ownadvantages. The diffusible hydrogen method is simple and easy to operate, and the values it givesmay relate to that part of the hydrogen content which takes part in room temperature service failuremost closely. It is, however, not a measure of the total hydrogen stored in the structure, whichmight be significant. In hot vacuum extraction method, the time required for a hydrogen analysis isabout 1/2 hour, which is relatively short, and it shows the total hydrogen content in metals, whichis suitable for the industrial use. In gas chromatographic method, it provides a convenient way ofhydrogen analysis, and the time requires for the determination is 48 hours. With regards to theeffects of water content in the electrode, on the hydrogen content in weidment, the results hereshow that the hydrogen content increased with the moisture content in the electrode. The hydrogencontent in the weidment, however, can be lower to an acceptible level if the electrodes are fullybaked. |
