| 中文摘要 | 圖書管理系統需要龐大之資料儲存與迅速之資料取得能力,本文就一圖書管理系前,對設計方法及檔案結構作一研討。設計中採用由上而下方式 (topdown) ,在系統定義層次,先大約定出需求之檔案結構,可將各檔案分為三個層次觀察,在最底層為實體儲存層次 (physical level) ,在中間為系統層次(system level) ,在最上端則為使用者層次 (user level)。系統採用模組化設計,在各模組程式化實現過程中,再隨時在系統層次上對檔案結構予以修改,以滿足需求之兩個目標,一為儘量節省儲存空間,一為儘量增進資料存取速度。在以微電腦為基礎之圖書管理系統,能滿足此二目標,對於管理者及讀者而言,將更容易使系統具有親和力。 |
| 英文摘要 | A library management system needs the capacity to store a tremendous amount of data and to retrieve the data rapidly. This study is a research of a library management system in design method and files structure. The design takes a top-down approach. In the system definition stage, we first define the necessary files structure approximately. We divide the files into three views: the physical storage level in the bottom, the system level in the middle, and the user level in the top. In the system implementation stage, we use the modular method to implement the functional modules and also to permit modification of the files structure which is defined in the definition stage. The whole design should meet the next two goals: to make the most efficient use of storage, and to provide the most rapid data retrieval from storage. In a microcomputer based library management system, satisfaction of those two goals will make the system more user-friendly for both managers and readers. |
