英文摘要 | The ruled surface is a surface generated by a family of straight lines. This type of surface can be applied widely to automotive, shipbuilding, electric, and die industries, due to it's simplicity for design and machining. This paper shows the principles of constructing ruled surfaces by using several kinds of boundary curves, i.e., the straight line, the circular arc, the cubic spline curve, and the Bezier curve. The design procedures for cunstructing both open type and closed type composite ruled surfaces are Presented to satisfy the continuity conditions of two adjacent surface patches. Finally, several examples of the ruled surface are shown and applications are implied. |
