| 英文摘要 | Manometry and radionuclide studies of esophageal function were carried out in four different groups of diabetic patients (with or without gastroenteropathic symptoms, and with or without autonomic neuropathy). The characteristic motor disturbances in esophageal manometry included prolonged duration of peristaltic contraction wave, decreased amplitude of peristaltic contraction wave, impaired relaxation of gastroesophageal sphincter, decreased cricopharyngeal sphincter pressure, frequent spontaneous and simultaneous contractions, and decreased prevalence of peristalsis. Presenceof retrograde motion in the first swallow time-activity curves and of condensed images, as well as marked increase in retrograde index were the radionuclide evidence of esophageal dysfunction in diabetic patients. Seventeen of 18 patients (94.4%) with diabetic gastroenteropathy showed abnormality in esophageal manometry, and 10 of 11 (91%) showed abnorrnal radionuclide esophageal transit studies. In contrast, there was 35% abnormality by manometric examination in patients without gastroenteropathy and none had abnormal results from radionuclide transit studies. Esophageal dysfunction appears to be a common finding in diabetic gastroenteropahty, but correlates less well with autonomic neuropathy. |
