中文摘要 | 本試驗之目的在探討不同成熟期對青刈玉米產量及青貯品質之影響。本試驗採用臺農351號及南改育47號為材料,分別於73年秋作及74年春作各種植一次。春作於吐絲授粉後21、28及35天青刈,秋作於吐絲授粉後35、45及55天青刈。春作臺農351號之鮮重產量在吐絲授粉後21、28及35天青刈者分別為34.0、23.8及17.3噸/公頃,南改育47號分別為30.6、21.6及15.0噸/公頃。秋作臺農351號之鮮重產量在吐絲授粉後35、45及55天青刈者分別為65.5、63.3及54.4噸/公頃,南改育47號分別為63.2、59.2及44.0噸/公頃。兩品種平均乾物率,在春作分別自吐絲後21天的27.6%增至35天的43.4%,秋作則自吐絲後35天的20.3%增至55天的32.8%。春秋兩作粗纖維均隨收刈期延遲而增加,但粗蛋白則略減少。青貯料的pH值春作介於4.2~4.9,秋作介於3.8至4.1。醋酸含量隨收刈期延後而減少,但乳酸及Flieg氏評分點却有增加之趨勢。根據本試驗結果顯示,本省青刈玉米應於秋天種植為宜;青刈期秋作宜於吐絲授粉後35至45天收刈,春作宜在吐絲授粉後21至28天收刈。 |
英文摘要 | Objective of this experiment was to determine forage yield and silage quality of forage maize (Zea mays, L) harvested at different growth stages. Two cultivars, Tainung no. 351 and Nankaiyu no. 47, were used and planted in fall 1984 and spring 1985, respectively. Plants were harvested at 21, 28, and 35 days after silking (DAS) in spring crop season and at 35, 45, and 55 DAS in fall crop season, respectively. Fresh forage yields of Tainung no. 351 were 34.0, 23.8, and 17.3 tons/ha, and those of Nainkaiyu no. 47 were 30.6, 21.2, and 15.0 tons/ha harvested at 21, 28, and 35 DAS in spring crop season, respectively. Fresh forage yields of Tainung no. 351 were 65.2, 63.3, and 54.4 tons/ha, and those of Nankaiyu no. 47 were 63.2, 59.2, and 44.0 tons/ha harvested at 35, 45, and 55 DAS in fall crop season, respectively. Averaged dry matter percentages increased from 27.6% harvested at 21 DAS to 43.4% at 35 DAS in spring crop season, and from 20.3% harvested at 35 DAS to 32.8% at 55 DAS in fall crop season. Crude fiber increased while crude protein decreased when harvest date was delayed in both spring and fall crop seasons. The pH values of silage were between 4.2 and 4.9 in spring crop season and between 3.8 and 4.1 in fall crop season, respectively. Acetic acid in silage decreased and lactic acid increased when harvest date was delayed. Flieg's score used to evaluate silage quality increased when harvest date was delayed. It was suggested that forage maize might be planted in fall crop season and harvested between 35 and 45 DAS, while those planted in spring crop season mighted be harvested between 21 and 28 DAS. |
