| 英文摘要 | A simple method based on the Riazi-Daubert empirical model is presented for the prediction of the surface tensions of non-polar and polar fluids over the temperature range from 32 to 212℉. The proposed model requires only the normal boiling point, the specific gravity and the acentric factor for each component as input. Calculated surface tensions for diverse organic fluids produce an average deviation of 6.86% from experimental measurements for 230 points considered. The best all-around method of Macleod-Sugden-Goldhammer previously recommended gives an average deviation of 13.82%. |
