中文摘要 | 自民國71年1月16日到民國74年7月31日間,於三軍總醫院接受腦部電腦斷層攝影檢查4784患者中,共有101人(2.1%)在腦部電腦斷層攝影上發現底神經節鈣化。其中男性44位,女性57位,平均年齡55.7歲。底神經節鈣化的比率隨年齡增加而增加。在電腦斷層攝影上,大多數患者為兩側對稱性蒼白球鈣化,而且亦無相關神經症狀出現。有3位小於40歲的年輕患者,因局部運動型癲癇發作或局部運動型癲癇發作續發全身運動癲癇發作求診,電腦斷層攝影上發現腦中多處鈣化,經診斷為假性副甲狀腺功能過低症。故建議小於40歲的患者有癲癇發作及底神經節鈣化者,或是任何年齡患者出現底神經節、小腦齒狀核及腦中其他部位有多處鈣化者,一定要詳細檢查副甲狀腺功能。 |
英文摘要 | Between Jan. 16 ’82 and July 31, ’85, 4784 cases of computerized tomography were reviewed for basal ganglia calcification; 101 patients with such calcification were identified. The affected patients were 44 man and 57 woman, aged 10 to 94 years; the mean of age was 55.9. The frequency of visualization increased with increasing age. Calcifications on CT scan were bilateral in 91 of these cases and unilateral in 10. Ninety of 91 bilateral clacification were symmetrical. Bilateral dentate nucleus calcifications were seen in 18 patients too. Most of cases were felt to present senescent calcification, but three had abnormal serum calcium-phosphorous level. Patients under the ago of 40 with calcification of the globus pallidus or patients of any age with calcification in the lenticular nucleus and elsewhere in the basal ganglia, dentate nucleus or multiple areas of the cortex should be re-evualuated carefully for parathyroid disorders. |
