| 中文摘要 | 摻合是改良聚合物性質的有效方法之一,本研究選擇聚丙烯(PP)與高密度乙烯(HDPE)或低密度聚乙烯(LDPE)摻合,測試其抗張強度,熱變形溫度及耐衝擊強度等機械性,並由動態粘彈性,熱分析,密度及掃描電子顯微鏡等探討摻合物之微結構。 結果發現,PP的耐衝擊性可因PE之加入而增強,LDPE的效果較佳;但抗張強度及熱變形溫度則隨著PE含量增加而減弱。摻合物之機械性質與聚合物本性,界面接著性及結晶度等有關連。 |
| 英文摘要 | Blending is an effective method to improve polymer properties. It is widely used in industry. In this study, isotactic polypropylene (PP) was blended with high or low-density polyethylene (HDPE or LDPE) through extrusion to investigate the variation of tensile strength, heat deflection temperature, and impact strength with the composition of the material. The microstructures of polyblends have been studied to interpret the apparent mechanical behavior through a number of teachniques, such as dynamic viscoelasticity, differential scanning calorimetry, pienometry and scanning electron microscopy. It has been found that the impact strength of PP was promoted by adding PE, especially LDPE, but the tensile strength and heat deflection temperature mostly decreased with increasing PE content. These effects were attraibuted to the properties of homopolymers, interfacial adhesion of polyblends, fractional crystallinity, etc. |
