| 英文摘要 | The books and records of China have been spreading east to Japan for many centuries, which can be traced back to the very ancient times. After the Meiji Emperor, the Japanese engaged more and more in the compilation of Sinology indexes. The indexes compiled by various universities, research institutes and scholars have made tremendous contribution to the development of Sinology Studies in Japan. This article recorded up to 316 Sinology indexes, ranking at the top of the world. The author surveyed the unique terminology of Japanese "indexes," the history and evolution of Sinology indexes, and also sum up the categories and contents of them, which are grouped into six types: Index lo indexes, series index, bibliography index, encyclopedia index, periodical index, and subject index. Among them the subject index is the most, which is also subdivided into: Confucian classis, philosophy, religion, society and economics, politics, law, history, linguistics, and belles-lettres. |
