英文摘要 | The spheroidized structure, ferrite and carbides, is usually produced by prolonged heating, 3 to 8 hours at a temperature slightly above or below the A1 or A3 2 1 transformation. The prolonged heating causes the carbides to coalesce into spheres, completely destroying the pearlitic formation and resulting in a matrix of ferrite with the carbon in the form of spheroidal carbides. The time for spheroidizing is usually lessened by a normalizing treatment prior to spheroidizing. In medium and high carbon steel the spheroidized structure has the lowest hardness, strength and wear resistance, but the best machineability, toughness, and ductility. In heat treatment, we put the sample into the strong electric field to polarize the molecules and it takes only one hour to spheroidize. Therefore it lessens the time required and fits the experiments. |
